PRH India Deploys 100-Percent Recycled Paper

Penguin Random House India earlier this month announced its commitment to transition to 100-percent recycled paper. To that end, it has worked to assess and source out everything it needs to achieve this objective. Ajay Joshi, the company’s vice president for supply chain and production, comments, "Penguin recognizes the immense responsibility we shoulder as users of paper. Therefore, being eco-friendly and having sustainable practices are of utmost importance." He went on to note that Penguin Random House India was among the first players in India to adopt Forest Stewardship Council (or FSC) mix-certified paper. Transitioning to a superior quality recycled paper is simply the next logical step.
