Containerboard Mill Investors File for Nevada Tax Incentives

Investors who explored constructing a recycled-content containerboard mill in Utah several years ago are now seeking to locate the mill in northern Nevada. More than 30 pages of documents recently posted to the Nevada Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED) website describe the proposed mill as one that will convert approximately 370,000 tons annually of recovered paper into containerboard. Crossroads Paper has chosen a site in northern Nevada’s Humboldt County. The company is looking to fill what it sees as a void for packaging material currently lacking throughout the western region of the country.
