Macon's Irving Tissue Facility to Add 100+ New Jobs With Expansion

A Macon, Ga., manufacturing facility is set to add more than 100 new jobs as a part of a $600,000,000 expansion project. Georgia Governor Brian Kemp announced the expansion and investment into Macon's Irving Tissue facility on Nov. 21, remarking, "Since choosing Macon in 2017, Irving Tissue has invested around $1.5 billion into the community and created 400 well-paying jobs, with another 100 jobs on the way." The expansion will include a third ThruAir Dry paper-making machine, along with more converting lines and a new fully automated warehouse.
