Svante Selected for US DOE Funding to Advance Carbon Capture in the Pulp & Paper Industry

The U.S. Department of Energy reports that its Industrial Efficiency and Decarbonization Office has chosen Svante's Pre-FEED (Preliminary Front End Engineering Design) study for a commercial-scale carbon capture project to negotiate a cost-sharing agreement of up to $1,499,889. The ambitious project represents a transformational approach for the pulp and paper industry as it will create additional value from its sustainable biomass to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
