UPM to Exhibit New Fibre-Based Recyclable Paper Packaging at Fachpack 2025

UPM Specialty Papers is set to exhibit an array of new fibre-based, recyclable packaging solutions at Fachpack 2025, a European trade fair for packaging, technology, and processes set for Sept. 23-25. UPM's solutions are aimed at meeting future packaging needs, supporting UPM's sustainability goals and are in line with the EU's Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation. The portfolio includes solutions developed via partnerships with BOBST, EvoPak, Michelman, Orkla Suomi, Royal Vaassen and Walkers Chocolate -- collaborations that have yielded recyclable, food-safe barrier paper solutions with applications ranging from candy wrappers to coffee and tea canisters. Among the highlights is the recyclable barrier paper created in partnership with Royal Vaassen.
