K Kruger Products Announces Plans to Build New Tissue Plant in the United States

Kruger Products has announced plans to build a new, state-of-the-art tissue facility in the western United States -- a decision that follows more than $1 billion invested in Canada since 2018 to expand tissue capacity and support the company’s growth initiatives. The project will include a modern through-air-dry (TAD) machine, along with related converting lines, reinforcing Kruger's ability to supply ultra-premium tissue products to the rapidly growing North American market. The site selection process is reportedly in its final stages. The new TAD machine will boast an annual production capacity of around 75,000 metric tons, with startup projected in 2028.
