Georgia-Pacific Announces President & CEO; Duncan to Lead Nearly 100-Year-Old Atlanta-Based Manufacturing Company

Georgia-Pacific (GP) has promoted David Duncan to president and CEO. An eight-year company veteran, Duncan has been serving as executive vice president of Georgia-Pacific's consumer products group. Vivek Joshi, the current president of the company's consumer tissue, towel and napkins business, has agreed to serve as executive vice president of the consumer products business. Vivek joined GP in 2002. Throughout his career with the company, he has helped boost performance in many of GP's consumer-facing brands such as Angel Soft, Brawny, Dixie, and Quilted Northern.
