Oldest U.S. Paper Mill Marks 207 Years of Innovation as America Turns 250

With the United States recently celebrating its 250th anniversary, much admiration was directed Monadnock Paper Mills' way for its role in the country's manufacturing heritage. Founded in 1819, the company boasts the oldest continuously operating paper mill in the nation, bringing more than two centuries of papermaking expertise to the packaging and specialty paper markets. "Monadnock's longevity reflects more than its history,” remarks Chloe Jones, director of Marketing & Communications at Monadnock Paper Mills." Indeed, over the course of its 207-year history, the New Hampshire-based manufacturer has exhibited an unswerving ability to adapt to changing market demands while maintaining its focus on quality and responsible manufacturing practices.
