Omya's ATMIRE technology platform has moved beyond the development stage, with operating installations and additional projects progressing at paper industry sites. The platform is proving its value by processing side streams into recycled calcium carbonate grades and other value-added materials. This, in turn, is helping mills support sustainability goals, close the loop on raw material use, and slash disposal costs. Producers across the pulp and paper industry are under mounting pressure to reduce landfill dependency and improve circularity. Many are also having to respond to evolving regulations.
